What’s New in Styku Studio V5

Styku is proud to announce the latest evolution of our software. Studio V5 is designed to streamline your business operations, provide deeper insights during client consultations, and deliver industry-leading data security.

Note for V5 Users: We are constantly improving the platform. This guide includes new features from our latest update (v5.63), including the new Express Mode and improved UI controls.

1. New Feature: Express Mode (v5.63)

Designed for high-traffic environments, Express Mode speeds up the checkout process by removing post-scan review screens.

How it works: After a scan, customers are notified that results will be sent to their phone/email and are automatically logged out after 30 seconds.
How to enable: Navigate to Settings > Scanner Hardware and toggle on Express Mode.

2. Workflow & Accuracy

Flexible Login (QR & Email): * App Users: Instant login via QR code.
- New/Non-App Users: Select "Log in with Email." Update (v5.63): The UI now uses welcoming language for new customers and requires email confirmation to prevent typos.
Improved Data Entry (v5.63): Birth date and height inputs are now direct type-in fields (replacing spinners). We’ve also added a search box for birth country and clear unit descriptions (lbs/kg) next to selection buttons.
Scan Checkpoint: A pre-scan step ensures clients are wearing correct attire for reliable results.
Smart Area Detection: Augmented reality alerts staff if objects are within 14 inches of the turntable.
Cloud Sync Status: A dashboard indicator confirms when scans are fully synced, letting staff know when it is safe to shut down.

3. After-Scan Experience

Auto-Accept Logic (v5.63): Scans are now automatically saved after 30 seconds. Previously, the system would wait 10 minutes and then delete the scan; now, the data is secured immediately, and the system stays on the choice page for 10 minutes before logging out.
Autoload Scans: The system immediately displays a before-and-after comparison with the previous scan as soon as processing finishes.
Healthpass Update (v5.63): When Healthpass is enabled, the UI no longer prompts users to purchase preventative scans, creating a more professional flow.

4. Consultations & Insights

Redesigned Dashboard: Centralizes metrics, progress charts, and cross-section overlays for faster consultations.
New Health Metrics: Includes Visceral Fat Area and Appendicular Lean Mass with risk-indicator tags.
Posture Module: Analyzes hip and shoulder shifts to identify injury risk and malalignment.
Expanded Fitness Module: * Nutrition: Supports Keto, Atkins, Paleo, etc., with macro breakdowns.
- Muscle Gain: Specialized calculator for hypertrophy goals.
- Aesthetics: Select sculpting modalities to predict net inches lost in specific areas.

5. Privacy & Security

Security PIN: Staff can require a PIN to open profiles on the gym floor.
Passwordless Association: No verification code is required for the first scan; new users go straight to profile creation.
Returning Users: If a customer has an account but no phone, they can verify via a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to Email or SMS.

🛠️ Key Bug Fixes (v5.63)

Email Delivery: Resolved issues with emails not sending to Microsoft domains (Outlook, Hotmail, MSN, Live).
Data Accuracy: Fixed inaccuracies in the Key Biometrics section and Trends graphs.
Calculations: Corrected math errors in the Calorie Calculator and fixed measurement recalculations when switching genders.
Stability: Fixed blank data screens after scans and issues when canceling during the "Record Weight" stage.

⚠️ Known Issues

Windows Smart App Control: This Windows setting may block the Styku updater, causing an "Update Loop."
- Solution: You must manually turn off Smart App Control in Windows settings to allow the update to install. Watch Instruction Video.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the "Health" tab? Information (like Visceral Fat) is now integrated into Fitness, Aesthetics, and the Dashboard for better flow. A more advanced Health module is currently in development.

Can we suppress emails sent to clients? No. These are essential transactional emails (Scan Summary, App Invite, and 4-week Re-scan Reminder) and cannot be disabled.

Can clients be scanned without a mobile device? Yes, but they must have access to an email account to verify their login credentials if they are a returning user.
