How do I turn the self-scan option on, so my customers can scan themselves in privacy?
The self-scan feature can be turned on and off in the Settings menu.
Step 1: Press the Settings button to open the Settings menu.
Step 2: Choose the Scanner Hardware option.
Step 3: Press the button next to the Self-Scan option to turn it on. It will turn red when on.
Step 4: Close the Settings window. The next time you perform a scan, the scan will automatically start when the person on the turntable stands in the correct position. You won't need to press the start scan button.
