Styku Refurbished Unit Sales Terms and Conditions

These Refurbished Unit Sales Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the sale of any refurbished equipment (“Refurbished Unit”) provided by Styku LLC (“Styku”) to the purchaser (“Buyer”). By purchasing a Refurbished Unit, Buyer agrees to be bound both by this Agreement and by all other applicable Styku terms and conditions, including the Styku Customer Terms of Service and Product-Specific Terms of Service available at:

This Agreement applies in addition to those Terms and Conditions. Where a conflict exists, the terms of this Agreement control and supersede any inconsistent provisions.
1. Condition of Refurbished Units
1.1 Refurbished Status
Refurbished Units are previously owned systems that have been restored by Styku to functional condition. Units may show cosmetic imperfections that do not affect performance.
1.2 Functional Verification
Each unit undergoes Styku’s quality assurance process, including diagnostics, cleaning, repairs when needed, and functional validation.
1.3 Component Variability
Due to discontinued parts and updated technology, Refurbished Units may contain updated components that differ from original manufacturing specifications. Component uniformity across generations is not guaranteed.
2. Warranty & Support
2.1 90-Day Limited Warranty
Refurbished Units include a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Styku will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective unit or component.
2.2 No Returns or Refunds
All Refurbished Unit sales are final sale. No returns, refunds, exchanges, or credits are provided outside of the warranty repair/replacement process.
2.3 Support Eligibility
Refurbished Units are eligible for standard support. Extended coverage via Styku Care may be available for purchase.
3. Software Access & Compatibility
3.1 Subscription Requirements
Use of a Refurbished Unit requires an active Styku software subscription, billed separately under Styku’s standard software terms.
3.2 Scan Comparison Limitations
Due to differences in cameras, sensors, and hardware generations, scans from a Refurbished Unit may not be directly comparable to scans from older hardware. Cross-generation comparisons are not recommended.
3.3 Data Removal & Privacy
Refurbished Units do not retain any data from previous owners. All historical scans, user profiles, and stored information are permanently wiped by Styku prior to shipment. Buyers will not receive access to any data previously stored on the unit, ensuring full privacy and security for all prior users.
4. Payment, Delivery & Risk of Loss
4.1 Payment Terms
Full payment must be received before the unit is shipped. Styku may require identification or business verification to prevent fraud.
4.2 Shipping
Shipping timelines may vary based on location and carrier. Styku is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or other third parties.
4.3 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage transfers to Buyer once the unit is delivered to the carrier. Buyer is responsible for any claims related to carrier damage.
5. Buyer Restrictions & Conduct
5.1 No Interference with Other Sales
Buyer agrees not to:
• Contact or identify prior owners
• Influence, disrupt, or interfere with any prior or future resale activity
• Engage in conduct that could compromise the integrity of Styku’s resale process
5.2 Privacy of Other Customers
Buyer acknowledges that Styku does not reveal the identity of previous owners and will not disclose resale terms, history, or prior usage.
6. No Additional Representations
6.1 As-Is (Functional Condition)
Except for the limited warranty described above, the Refurbished Unit is sold as-is in functional condition. Styku makes no additional warranties, express or implied.
6.2 Performance Variability
Styku does not guarantee identical measurement results, scan output, or performance compared to new units or older hardware generations.
6.3 No Third-Party Guarantees
Styku is not responsible for compatibility with third-party hardware, software, or service providers.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
7.1 Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
7.2 Arbitration
Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, pursuant to the dispute resolution procedures in Styku’s standard Equipment & Software Terms.
