Where is the QR code on the Styku Studio home screen, and can I save it?
Short Answer
The QR code on the Styku Studio home screen is a client login QR code. It appears on the home screen between sessions (when no client is logged in). Clients scan it with their phone camera to log in to their scan profile.
You cannot save or export this QR code. Studio generates a new, unique QR code before every session, so any saved image would be invalid as soon as the next session starts.
Where to find it
- Open Styku Studio on the scanner laptop.
- The home screen (when no client is logged in) displays the login QR code prominently.
- The QR code is intended to be scanned on the screen, in real time, by the client's phone camera.
How clients use it
This QR code is Option 1 of the two client login methods in Studio V5 (the other is email login). When a client scans the QR code with their phone camera:
- The client logs into their Styku account (the one tied to their Styku mobile app).
- Studio pulls the client's profile and immediately advances to the scan workflow.

Why the QR code cannot be saved or exported
Each QR code is generated by Studio immediately before a session and is tied to that specific session. As soon as the next session starts, the QR code regenerates. There is no export, download, or "save image" function for the home-screen QR code, and capturing a screenshot would not produce a reusable code.

A different QR code: the Mobile App download QR
Styku also provides a Mobile App QR code as a marketing/signage asset. This QR code points to the App Store / Google Play so clients can download the Styku mobile app. It is intended to be printed and displayed in your waiting area or on signage.
To download the Mobile App QR code:
- Log in to the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
- Go to Sales and Marketing Resources.
- Under Digital and Print Assets, select Marketing Assets.
- Click Mobile App QR Codes to download a printable brochure.
This is a separate, durable QR code — completely different from the per-session login QR code in Studio.
