• The turntable does not power on at all
• The turntable does not rotate during a scan
• The scale does not register weight or gives inconsistent readings
• The turntable is not detected by the software even after trying a different USB cable or port

Before concluding that the unit requires replacement, confirm that the following standard troubleshooting steps have been attempted:

• Rotation check: Log in as an administrator, press the Tools button, and use the Start/Stop Turntable option to test whether the turntable rotates independently of a scan. If the turntable does not respond to this control, this is a strong indicator of a hardware fault.
• Weight scale check: Log in as an administrator, press the Tools button, select "Use Weight Scale," and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm whether the scale registers weight at all.
