Why doesn't my Styku camera tower fit fully into its carrying bag?
You received the correct bag. The camera tower's base plate is designed to stay outside the carrying bag — only the main body of the tower fits inside. This is how the bag is intended to work.
What Goes Where
When packing your camera tower into its carrying bag:
- Tower body (the tall aluminum column with the camera) — slides into the bag
- Base plate (the flat foot at the bottom of the tower) — remains outside the bag, sticking out from the open end
This is normal and expected. The bag is sized for the tower body only.
If Something Still Doesn't Look Right
If the tower body itself won't fit — not just the base plate — check the following:
- Make sure the tower is oriented correctly, with the base plate at the open end of the bag.
- Confirm you are using the bag that shipped with your scanner, not a bag from another product.
- Check that no accessories (cables, adapters) are still attached to the tower that might be blocking insertion.
If the main body of the tower still does not fit after these steps, contact support — you may have received an incorrect accessory.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: a photo showing how the tower sits in the bag, your order number, and the scanner model you received (found on the packaging or in the Styku Business Portal).
