Why does the Sculpting graph show the same data across different client profiles?

The Sculpting graph showing identical values across different client profiles is a known display bug in Styku Studio V5. The left-side measurement column can get "stuck" on data from the first scan opened in a session, and continues showing those same numbers when you switch to other clients. The underlying scan data and 3D model measurements are not affected — this is a display-only issue.

What's actually happening

When you open multiple client profiles in the same Styku Studio session, the left column of the scan view may continue to show measurements from the first scan you opened. Specifically:

  • Different clients appear to share the same numerical values and dates in the Sculpting section
  • The data shown does not match each client's actual scan history
  • The issue affects the left-side data column only — measurements shown when clicking landmarks on the 3D avatar on the right side of the screen are correct

Your clients' actual scan data is intact. This is a visual display error, not a data loss or measurement accuracy problem.

What has been tried (and did not resolve the issue)

Our support team has confirmed that the following steps do not fix this bug:

  1. Restarting the computer and Styku Studio application
  2. Clearing local cache and temporary files
  3. Reinstalling Styku Studio

Because the bug persists after reinstallation, this is a confirmed software defect that requires a software update to fix. It cannot be resolved through troubleshooting steps alone.

What you can do in the meantime

  • When reviewing a client's Sculpting data, use the 3D avatar landmark measurements on the right side of the scan view — these are displaying correctly
  • Avoid relying on the left-side column values until a fix is released
  • If you need to verify a specific client's measurements, open their profile in a fresh Styku Studio session (close and relaunch the app between clients)

Fix status

Styku's engineering team has identified this bug and a fix is in development. When the update is released, Styku Studio will prompt you to install it automatically. No manual download will be required on your part. We will update this article when the fix is confirmed live.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: your Styku Studio version number (visible in the app settings), a description of how many client profiles are affected, whether the issue occurs every session or intermittently, and whether the 3D avatar landmark measurements on the right side are also showing incorrect data.
