Why did the Health Screening feature disappear after a Styku software update?
If the Health Screening feature is no longer visible after updating to Styku Studio V5, this is almost always because Health Screening is now a premium module that your account does not have unlocked — not a bug, a missing setting, or a feature that was simply moved elsewhere in the interface.
What changed in Studio V5In older versions of Styku Studio, the Health module — including the disease-risk assessment and the waist inch-loss goal that showed clients how much they needed to reduce to move into a lower-risk category — was available to most accounts by default.
Studio V5 replaced that older Health module with a redesigned Health Screen & Prevention module. In V5, Health Screen & Prevention is a premium capability. If your plan or account does not include it, both the module and the Disease Risk section of the PDF summary scan report will no longer appear after you update.
This is a change in how the feature is packaged — not a defect. Restarting or reinstalling the software will not restore it if your account is not entitled to it.
What you still have on every planUpdating to V5 does not delete your scans or remove your core scan data. On all plans, the Dashboard still shows raw health indicators for each scan — including waist circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, and body fat percentage — alongside full body composition and circumference measurements. You can continue using these during client consultations.
What now requires the Health Screen & Prevention module:
- The in-app Health Screen — disease-risk assessment, risk multipliers, Health Score, and the waist inch-loss risk-reduction goal slider.
- The Disease Risk section of the PDF summary scan report.
The Health Screen & Prevention module is available if any of the following apply:
- You are enrolled as a HealthPass provider.
- The scan is a HealthPass Preventative Body Scan that your client purchased.
- You are on the Enterprise software plan.
- You add the module to Studio V5 for $300/month — available on any plan tier.
To enable the module or confirm your eligibility, contact Styku Support through the Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If you believe your account should already include Health Screen & Prevention (for example, you are on Enterprise or are a HealthPass provider) and it is still missing, contact support and include: your business name, your current subscription plan, your Styku Studio version number (found in the app settings), and a screenshot of your Dashboard view.
