Why can't I download the Styku app on my iPhone or iPad?
If you can't download the Styku mobile app on your iPhone or iPad, your device likely needs a software update or your App Store region may need to be changed. Both issues are quick to fix and the steps below will walk you through them.
Step 1 — Check your iOS version
The Styku mobile app requires iOS 15.0 or later. If your device is running an older version, the app will not appear in the App Store or will fail to install.
To check and update your iOS version:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- If an update is available, tap Update Now and follow the prompts.
- Once the update is complete, try downloading the Styku app again.
Step 2 — Check your App Store region
The Styku app is available in the Apple App Store. If your Apple ID is set to a different country or region, the app may not appear in your search results.
To check your App Store region:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top to open your Apple ID settings.
- Tap Media & Purchases.
- Tap View Account.
- Tap Country/Region.
- If it is not set to your correct region, follow the on-screen steps to change it.
- Once updated, search for Styku in the App Store and install the app.
Step 3 — Download the app directly
The Styku mobile app is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. You can go straight to the app by searching "Styku" in the App Store, or by scanning the QR code available on the Styku Mobile App FAQ page.
- App Store listing: Styku on the Apple App Store
- Google Play Store listing: Styku on the Google Play Store
Note: The Styku mobile app is free to download and use.
Step 4 — Check available storage
If the app still won't install, make sure your device has enough free storage space.
- Open Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage).
- If storage is nearly full, delete unused apps or files and try again.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: your device model (e.g., iPhone 13), your current iOS version, your Apple ID country/region setting, and a screenshot of any error message you see when trying to download the app.
Tip: Once the app is installed, make sure you log in using the same email address you used when you were scanned. The app retrieves scans associated with your account email. If you are unsure which email was used, reach out to the business location where you were scanned and they can provide it.
