Why are some training modules locked or missing in the Styku Business Portal?
If training modules appear locked or missing in the Styku Business Portal, try logging out and back in first — this resolves the issue in many cases. If the modules are still unavailable after that, they may not yet be published, and Styku support can check on their status for you.
Step 1: Log Out and Back In to the Business Portal
A stale login session can prevent the portal from displaying newly available content. Refreshing your session often fixes this immediately.
- Go to the Styku Business Portal and click your account name or profile icon.
- Select Log Out.
- Close your browser tab, then reopen the portal and log back in with your credentials.
- Navigate back to the Training section and check whether the missing modules now appear.
If Modules Are Still Unavailable After Logging Back In
Some training modules — especially those tied to a recent software update — may not be published yet. This is not an error on your end. It simply means the content is still being finalized by the Styku team.
- You do not need to reinstall anything or make changes to your scanner or laptop.
- The issue is on the portal backend, not your account or device.
- Styku support can confirm whether a module is published and escalate if needed.
What Triggers This Issue
This tends to come up after a Styku Studio software update announcement. Customers revisit the training section to learn about new features and find that some modules are locked or missing. The most common cause is one of these two things:
- Your browser session needs to be refreshed (logging out and back in fixes this).
- The module has not been published to the portal yet and will become available soon.
Context: Styku Software Modules
For reference, the current Styku software platform includes five modules: Fitness & Weight Loss, Posture & Alignment, Aesthetics & Sculpting, Dashboard & Metrics, and Health Screen & Prevention. If a training module name does not correspond to one of these five areas, it may indicate a labeling error or a module that has not yet been formally released — report it to support so they can investigate.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: your Styku Business Portal login email, the name or number of the specific module(s) you cannot access, a screenshot of what you see when you try to open the module, and whether logging out and back in made any difference.
