Why are some features from the Styku Studio V5 training videos missing from my app?
Some features shown in Styku Studio V5 training videos have moved to the Styku Mobile App, while others (like the Health Screen) may simply be disabled on your account and need to be turned on by Styku Support. Check the sections below to find what you're looking for.
Scan Deletion and Profile Editing
In Styku Studio V5, scan deletion and profile editing are no longer performed directly in the desktop app. There are two ways to handle these actions:
- End users (people who were scanned) can delete their own scans and edit their own profiles through the Styku Mobile App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Administrators who need to make these changes on behalf of a patient or member can contact Styku Support to request a scan deletion or profile edit.
Health Screen (Disease Risk / Chronic Disease Risk Assessment)
The Health Screen tab displays chronic disease risk estimates derived from anthropometric measurements — body shape metrics captured by the 3D scan — compared against an ideal scan profile. This approach is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which identify anthropometric measures such as waist-to-hip ratio as established indicators of chronic disease risk.
Key outputs of the Health Screen include:
- Chronic disease risk (e.g., cardiovascular disease, metabolic conditions) estimated from body shape metrics
- Metabolic Syndrome prediction with up to 92% accuracy
- ALSTI (Appendicular Lean Soft Tissue Index), which measures arm and leg muscle mass relative to height and is a key marker for sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss)
This tab is present in Styku Studio V5 but may be disabled on your account.
If you do not see the Health Screen tab in your app:
- Log in to the Styku Business Portal and submit a support ticket asking Support to enable the Health Screen on your account.
- Once Support confirms it has been enabled, fully close and restart the Styku Studio application.
- The Health Screen tab should now be visible in your scan results.

What Has Not Changed
- All body composition measurements and 3D model results are still displayed after every scan.
- The Settings tab is still available in the app. Navigate to Settings > Account and Privacy to manage your PIN and other account options.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: the specific feature name you cannot locate, a description of what you see on screen versus what the training video shows, and your Styku account or business name so Support can review your account settings.
