What should I do if my Styku laptop keyboard has sticky or unresponsive keys?

What should I do if my Styku laptop keyboard has sticky or unresponsive keys?

If your Styku laptop keyboard has sticky or unresponsive keys, this is a hardware defect that cannot be fixed through software or settings. The keyboard will need to be replaced through an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process. To get started, you will need to send Styku support a short video showing the problem.

What Is an RMA?

An RMA is a formal hardware replacement process. Styku support will review your video, confirm the defect, and arrange for a replacement unit to be sent to you.

Steps to Report the Issue

  1. Record a short video on your phone or another device showing the sticky or unresponsive keys in action. Demonstrate the affected keys clearly — for example, press each sticky key so the problem is visible.
  2. Contact Styku support using one of the methods below and attach the video to your message.
  3. Support will review the video and initiate the RMA process on your behalf.

How to Contact Support

  • Styku Business Portal: Log in at styku.com/portal, and submit a support ticket. Attach your video to the ticket form.

Support typically responds within 1 business day.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: a video clearly demonstrating the sticky or unresponsive keys, your business name, and your scanner's license key (found in the Styku Business Portal).

Applies to: Styku X2L laptop keyboard; all current Styku hardware configurations with an integrated laptop computer.
