What should I do if my Styku laptop charger is broken or missing?
If your Styku laptop's AC adapter (charger) is broken or missing, contact Styku Support as soon as possible. Styku will need to confirm your laptop model before sending or recommending a replacement, so have that information ready.
Why Your Laptop Model Matters
The Styku system ships with a laptop computer, and the correct AC adapter depends on the specific laptop model included with your scanner. Using the wrong charger can damage your laptop. Styku Support will confirm which replacement is right for your unit before sending one out.
How to Find Your Laptop Model
- Flip the laptop over and look for a label on the bottom of the device.
- The model name or number is usually printed on that label — it may look something like "HP EliteBook 840" or similar.
- Take a photo of the label or write down the full model name and any part numbers you see.
Steps to Request a Replacement Charger
- Log in to the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
- Navigate to the support section and complete the ticket form to submit a new support request.
- In your ticket, include:
- Your laptop model number (found on the label on the bottom of the laptop)
- A brief description of the issue (broken or missing AC adapter)
- Your shipping address so the correct part can be sent to you
- Alternatively, email support@styku.com and a support ticket will be created automatically.
While You Wait
- Do not attempt to use a generic or third-party charger unless Styku Support has confirmed it is compatible with your specific laptop model.
- If your laptop battery still has charge, avoid running unnecessary programs to conserve power until your replacement arrives.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: your laptop model number (printed on the label on the bottom of the device), your business location name, license key, or order number if available, your shipping address for the replacement part, and a photo of the damaged charger if applicable.
