What is the admin PIN in Styku Studio and how does it protect client data?

What is the admin PIN in Styku Studio and how does it protect client data?

Overview

Styku Studio uses a shared admin PIN to restrict access to client profiles, scan history, and scanner settings. Only staff members who know the PIN can view or manage client data.

Details

  • What it protects: Client profiles, scan results, before-and-after comparisons, and scanner configuration settings.
  • Who sets it up: The PIN is created by the account admin (using the admin email and password) during initial onboarding.
  • How it works: When a staff member selects Open Profiles on the Styku Studio home screen, they must enter this PIN before accessing any client data.
  • Shared access: The PIN is shared among authorized team members rather than being individual per user.

Notes

  • If the shared PIN has not been set up yet, you will need your admin email and password to create it.
  • Keep the PIN confidential and limit it to authorized scan operators.
  • In addition to the admin view in Studio, clients can review their own scan data privately through the Styku mobile app without needing the admin PIN.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: your Styku account admin email address and a description of the PIN setup issue.

Applies to: Styku Studio (all configurations).
