What is Styku and how does it work?
Overview
Styku is a 3D body scanning system used in fitness, wellness, and clinical settings. It combines a hardware turntable and scanner with analysis software to quickly and accurately assess the human body.
How the Hardware Works
- A turntable rotates the person 360 degrees during the scan.
- A scanner uses a non-invasive infrared camera to capture thousands of images of the body as it rotates.
- The full scan takes approximately 30 seconds.
What the Software Measures
Once the scan is complete, Styku's software automatically analyzes the captured data and provides:
- Body shape and circumference measurements
- Body fat percentage
- Muscle mass
- Additional body composition metrics
Notes
- The infrared camera is non-invasive and safe for all users.
- Results are generated automatically after the scan completes — no manual measurements are required.
