What does my Styku subscription include, and why do I need one?

Your Styku subscription keeps your scanner's software license active — without it, Styku Studio will stop working and you will not be able to perform scans. The subscription is tied to your scanner (not to individual staff members), and your whole team uses the scanner under one plan.

Why is a subscription required?

Styku Studio requires an active, validated license to run. That license is maintained through your subscription. If your subscription lapses, the software becomes inaccessible until a subscription is reinstated. No individual trainer or staff member needs their own license — one subscription covers your scanner, and everyone at your location can use it.

Per Styku's Terms of Service, if your paid subscription is terminated or expires, Styku may continue to make available Free Services, except in cases where the Agreement was terminated for cause.

How is the subscription structured?

  • One subscription per scanner. If you have two scanners at one location, you need two subscriptions.
  • Billed per scanner, not per user. Any number of staff can operate a scanner under a single subscription.
  • Billing starts after a deferral period. When you purchase a Styku scanner, billing does not begin immediately. Your subscription starts after a deferral period that begins once your scanner is delivered and activated. The length of this deferral is stated on your original purchase invoice.

What is included in each plan?

All plans include unlimited body scans, unlimited users, cloud storage for all scan data, ongoing software updates, white glove onboarding, and 24/7 support.

Access — $199/mo

Elite — $499/mo

Everything in Access, plus:

  • Fitness & Weight Loss module (fat loss calculator, muscle gain calculator, caloric tools, BMR, macros)
  • Posture & Alignment module (shoulder/hip shift analysis, kinetic chain detail)
  • Aesthetics & Sculpting module (regional measurements, Goals tool for body contouring)
  • 250+ biometrics
  • Unlimited viewing licenses

How do I know which plan I have?

Log in to the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal. Your current subscription plan and billing details are listed there. Your original purchase invoice also states which plan was included with your order.

When did my billing start?

Your billing start date is calculated from your scanner activation date, plus the deferral period agreed to at the time of purchase. If you are unsure when your deferral period ended or why a charge appeared, locate your original invoice in the Business Portal — it will show the plan, activation date, and deferral terms.

What happens if I cancel early?

Per Styku's Terms of Service, you may cancel your subscription early at any time; however, Styku will not provide any refunds of prepaid fees or unused Subscription Fees, and all unpaid fees through the end of your Current Term remain due immediately upon cancellation.

What if I enroll in the Consignment Program?

Per Styku's Consignment Program policy, enrolling in the consignment program ends your active Styku subscription. Any outstanding account balances must be resolved before Styku will accept the consignment order. Early cancellation fees continue to apply unless Styku has explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: your business name and location, the email address associated with your Styku account, your license key or business location name (found in the Business Portal or on the printed user guide shipped with your scanner), and a copy of the invoice or charge you have questions about.
