Using a refurbished Styku unit requires an active software subscription billed separately under standard Styku terms. Because refurbished units may use different camera and sensor hardware than newer or older generations, cross-generation scan comparisons are not recommended. Before shipment, Styku permanently wipes all prior owner data — including scans, user profiles, and stored information — from every refurbished unit. Buyers will not receive access to any previously stored data.

3.1 Subscription Requirements Use of a Refurbished Unit requires an active Styku software subscription, billed separately under Styku's standard software terms.

3.2 Scan Comparison Limitations Due to differences in cameras, sensors, and hardware generations, scans from a Refurbished Unit may not be directly comparable to scans from older hardware. Cross-generation comparisons are not recommended.

3.3 Data Removal & Privacy Refurbished Units do not retain any data from previous owners. All historical scans, user profiles, and stored information are permanently wiped by Styku prior to shipment. Buyers will not receive access to any data previously stored on the unit, ensuring full privacy and security for all prior users.
