Managing Client Scan Profiles, Deleting Scans, and Finding Features in Styku Studio
Administrators can edit client profiles, delete scans, and manage scan data directly within Styku Studio — these actions are performed through the Settings menu using administrator credentials. Clients can also create their accounts ahead of time using the Styku mobile app, which is the fastest and easiest way to log in and start scanning.
How Profile Management Works in Styku Studio
- The client (the person being scanned) must log in to their own scan profile prior to scanning — this is not the scanner administrator.
- There are two login options for clients: QR Code (recommended) and Email.
- Clients can create their accounts ahead of time by downloading the Styku mobile app and creating their account there. They can then log in at scan time using the QR code option.
- It is not currently possible to create a profile prior to scanning directly within Styku Studio software; pre-creation must be done through the mobile app.
- Administrators access profile management and scan data tools through the Settings menu in Styku Studio, after logging in with administrator credentials.
- To access administrator settings from the home screen, tap View Profile Only and enter your Admin PIN.
How Administrators Can Edit a Client Profile
If a client's profile has the wrong email address, name, date of birth, or other incorrect information, an administrator can fix it directly in Styku Studio:
- From the administrator view, press the Settings button to open the Settings menu.
- Scroll down and choose Customer Profiles and Scan Data.
- Log in with your administrator credentials.
- Choose the Edit Profile option.
- Search for and select the profile you want to edit, then press Continue to load the profile.
- Change the profile information as needed. There are two pages of information. When you're finished, press Continue. The profile will close and you'll be taken back to the Settings page. The profile is now updated.
If an administrator is unable to edit a profile or merge duplicate accounts, contact Styku Support and provide:
- The incorrect email currently on file
- The correct email the account should be under
- The client's full name
- A description of what happens when attempting to update the profile, including any error messages
How Administrators Can Delete a Scan
Administrators can delete scans directly from within Styku Studio through the Settings menu:
- Press the Settings button in the menu after logging in as an administrator.
- Scroll down and choose Customer Profiles and Scan Data. You will be asked to log in with your administrator credentials.
- Choose the Delete Scans option.
- Search for the profile by typing a name or email into the search box. Highlight the profile you want to edit and press Continue.
- Select the scan you wish to delete, then press the Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion by pressing Yes when the confirmation prompt appears.
Note: Choosing Scan Again during the scan review step will also delete the current scan and restart the scanning process. This is separate from the administrator deletion flow described above.
If you are unable to delete a scan through the software, contact Styku Support and provide:
- The client's full name and email address
- The scan date(s) you want removed
How Clients Can Log In and Scan
Using QR Code (Recommended)
- Client scans the QR code with their phone camera. (Downloading the Styku mobile app beforehand is recommended.)
- Select Continue on the welcome screen.
- The system checks the sensor and turntable.
- Confirm proper scan attire.
- Client steps onto the turntable for weight. If weight is not detected, enter weight manually.
- Assume A-pose and align until the pose frames turn green.
- Scan begins — remain still while spinning.
- Scan processes and measures — remain in scan attire.
- Review the scan and select Accept or Scan Again.
Note: Choosing Scan Again deletes the scan and restarts the process. If predicted measurements are shown, a rescan is recommended unless the scan looks acceptable.
- Once accepted, the client may review results in the software or log out.
Using Email
- Select Option 2: Login and scan with your email address.
- Client enters their email address.
- New client → Create profile.
- Returning client (this location) → Profile found.
- Verified mobile app user → Enter one-time verification code.
- Follow the same scan steps as above (sensor check, scan attire, weight, A-pose, scan, review).
How to Reset the Profiles List
If the profiles list in the Styku software needs to be reset:
- Close the Styku software and open the folder icon.
- Type
C:\ProgramData\StykuV5\archive cachein the search bar. - Locate the file named body_cache_v2.cfg and delete it.
- Reopen the software.
Business Portal Access Issues
If you are having trouble logging in to the Styku Business Portal, use the Forgot Password option on the login page. If that does not resolve the issue, contact support through the portal.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: the affected client's incorrect and correct email address, the client's full name, the specific feature you are trying to use, your current version of Styku Studio (visible in the app settings), and a description of what you see on screen including any error messages.
