The Styku scanner uses non-invasive infrared light to capture 3D body images. This technology is safe for virtually all individuals.
Details
- The infrared light emitted by the scanner is the same type found in everyday sources such as sunlight and TV remote controls.
- Scanning is considered safe for everyone, including:
- Pregnant individuals
- People with pacemakers
- Those with other health-related conditions
- The scanner does not use X-rays or any form of ionizing radiation.
- The scanner cannot see through clothing or skin.
Notes
- If a client has specific medical concerns, they should consult their healthcare provider, but no known contraindications exist for infrared body scanning at the intensities used by Styku.
