Overview

The Styku scanner uses non-invasive infrared light to capture 3D body images. This technology is safe for virtually all individuals.

Details

  • The infrared light emitted by the scanner is the same type found in everyday sources such as sunlight and TV remote controls.
  • Scanning is considered safe for everyone, including:
    • Pregnant individuals
    • People with pacemakers
    • Those with other health-related conditions
  • The scanner does not use X-rays or any form of ionizing radiation.
  • The scanner cannot see through clothing or skin.

Notes

  • If a client has specific medical concerns, they should consult their healthcare provider, but no known contraindications exist for infrared body scanning at the intensities used by Styku.
