How to Activate the Advanced Body Composition Model After Passing the Styku Phoenix Certification

Running Styku Studio V5.56 or later? The Advanced Body Composition Model is already active by default — no certification code or activation steps are needed. You can verify your version number in the Styku Studio Help or About screen. If Advanced is already selected in Settings → Body Composition, you are all set.

The steps below apply to users on older versions of Styku Studio that require a certification code to unlock the Advanced model.

After passing the Styku Phoenix certification test on older software versions, you will receive a certification code (also referred to as a training code) that unlocks the Advanced Body Composition Model in Styku Studio. You enter this code directly in the Styku Studio settings menu on your scanning computer — no reinstall or support request needed.

This change cannot be made from any other device or portal — it must be done on the Styku scanning laptop itself.

What You Need Before You Start

Access to your Styku scanning computer (the laptop that came with your scanner)
Styku Studio open on that computer

The certification code is 5462. Enter this code in the Training Code field as described in the steps below.

Steps to Activate the Advanced Model

Go to your Styku scanning computer and open Styku Studio.
Navigate to the Settings menu.
Find the Body Composition section within Settings.
Locate the Training Code or Certification Code field within that section.
Type or paste your certification code exactly as provided.
Confirm or save the entry when prompted.

Styku Studio will switch to the Advanced Body Composition Model automatically. You do not need to restart the software.

Important Reminders

This setting can only be changed on the Styku scanning computer — it is not available through the Styku Business Portal or any other device.
Enter the code without extra spaces.
The Advanced Model takes effect immediately. All scan results — past and future — will be displayed using the Advanced model going forward. The underlying 3D scan data is unchanged; only the body fat calculation applied to that data changes.

Troubleshooting

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support and include:

Your certification code (or confirmation that you have received and completed the Styku Phoenix certification test)
A screenshot of the Settings menu where the code was entered
A description of what you see in the Body Composition settings screen
Any error message displayed after submitting the code
The name on your Styku Business Portal account
