How does the Styku Buy Back Program work?
How does the Styku Buy Back Program work?
If your business circumstances have changed and you can no longer use your Styku scanner, the Styku Buy Back Program lets you sell your unit back through Styku. The process involves submitting photos of your system, completing a video assessment, and then working with the Styku Buyback team to finalize shipping and payment.
Step 1: Contact Styku Support
Reach out to Styku Support to express your interest in the Buy Back Program. A support representative will open a case and guide you through the process.
- Submit a ticket through the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal
Step 2: Submit Photos of Your System
Once your case is open, send clear photos of your scanner so the team can assess its condition. Include images of:
- The front, sides, and back of the camera tower
- The turntable (rotating platform) and its base
- The laptop or tablet computer
- All cables and accessories
You can share photos via a Google Drive link or email attachment. Video walkthroughs of the system are also helpful.
Step 3: Complete a Zoom Assessment
After reviewing your photos, a Styku technician will schedule a short Zoom video call to visually inspect the unit. During the call, the technician will:
- Confirm the system powers on and functions normally
- Check the turntable weight and calibration
- Review any cosmetic condition of the hardware
The support representative will provide a scheduling link to book a time that works for you.
Step 4: Sign the Consignment Agreement
Once the assessment is complete and the unit is approved, Styku will send you a Styku Consignment Program agreement to review and sign. This document covers the terms of the buyback arrangement.
Step 5: Shipping and Payment
After the agreement is signed, the Styku Buyback team takes over. They will contact you directly with:
- Shipping instructions for returning the unit
- Details on when and how you will receive payment after the unit is sold, refurbished, and delivered to a buyer
Styku manages all logistics, refurbishment, and resale on your behalf.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: your scanner model, approximate purchase date, current condition of the unit, and any previous communication or case numbers related to your buyback inquiry.
