How do I stop the on-screen keyboard from blocking the bottom of the Styku Studio screen?

How do I stop the on-screen keyboard from blocking the bottom of the Styku Studio screen?

The on-screen keyboard can cover buttons at the bottom of the Styku Studio screen. You can hide it instantly with a keyboard shortcut, or turn it off permanently through Styku Studio settings.

Option 1: Hide the Keyboard Instantly (Keyboard Shortcut)

Press Ctrl + Windows Key + O at the same time. This toggles the on-screen keyboard on and off. Press the same combination again any time you want to bring it back.

This is the quickest option if you still want to use the on-screen keyboard occasionally — just toggle it off when it's in the way.

Option 2: Turn Off the On-Screen Keyboard Permanently (Styku Settings)

Use this option if you want the keyboard disabled every time you use Styku Studio.

  1. Open Styku Studio on the laptop.
  2. Click Settings in the lower right corner of the home screen.
  3. Select Scanner Hardware from the menu.
  4. Find the On-Screen Keyboard option.
  5. Toggle the switch to turn it off.

The setting takes effect immediately. You can return to this screen at any time to turn the keyboard back on.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: a screenshot of the Styku Studio screen showing the keyboard overlap, which option you tried (shortcut or settings toggle), and your current version of Styku Studio (visible in the Settings menu).

Applies to: Styku Studio V5, all Styku configurations with touch-screen laptops (Styku X2L)
