How do I reset the profiles list in Styku Studio?
If your profiles list in Styku Studio is empty, showing names that no longer exist, or not loading correctly, the issue is usually a corrupted local cache file. Deleting the cache file forces Styku Studio to rebuild the profiles list fresh from Styku's servers.
When to use this fix
- The profiles list appears empty even though you have existing clients
- Profile names appear duplicated or are showing stale/incorrect entries
- The software prompts you to select a profile but the list will not load
Steps
Close Styku Studio completely. Make sure it is not running in the background — right-click the taskbar and confirm the app is not open.
Open File Explorer. Click the folder icon in the Windows taskbar, or press Windows Key + E.
Navigate to the cache folder. Click in the address bar at the top of the File Explorer window, type the following path, and press Enter:
C:\ProgramData\StykuV5\archive cacheNote:
ProgramDatais a hidden Windows folder. Typing the path directly into the address bar is the easiest way to reach it without changing your folder visibility settings.Delete the cache file. Find the file named
body_cache_v2.cfgand delete it. (Right-click → Delete, or select it and press the Delete key.)Reopen Styku Studio. The software will rebuild the profiles list automatically when it starts. This may take a moment if you have a large number of client profiles.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the profiles list is still empty or incorrect after completing these steps, contact support — the issue may be with your account's sync status rather than the local cache. Submit a ticket through the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
