How do I reset my password to access my Styku account?

Your Styku account is the administrator account used to log in to Styku Studio on your scanner laptop. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it directly from the login screen. No support ticket is needed for a standard password reset.

Note: Your Styku Studio administrator account is separate from your Styku Business Portal account at styku.com/portal. This article covers the Studio administrator account used to perform scans. For Business Portal access issues, use the Forgot Password option on that site's login page.

How to Reset Your Password

  1. Open Styku Studio on your scanner laptop.
  2. On the login screen, click Forgot Password.
  3. Enter the email address registered to your administrator account.
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset email from Styku and follow the link inside.
  5. Create a new password and log in.

If the Reset Email Doesn't Arrive

If you don't receive a reset email within a few minutes:

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Make sure you're using the exact email address registered when the scanner was set up.
  • Try the reset again — only the most recent reset email will work if multiple were sent.

If the Admin Email Is No Longer Accessible

If the administrator account is registered to a former employee's email or an address you no longer have access to, you won't be able to complete the reset on your own. Contact Styku Support to request a temporary password:

  1. Log in to the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal and submit a support ticket.
  2. Include your business name, the email on the admin account (if known), and the new email you want to use.
  3. Once Support provides a temporary password, log in with it and update your email and password in Settings → Accounts and Privacy Controls → Administrator Account.

Changing Your Password When You're Already Logged In

If you have access to your account and want to update your password proactively:

  1. Open Styku Studio and press Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Accounts and Privacy Controls.
  3. Log in with your current administrator credentials.
  4. Choose Administrator Account and update your password.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: the email address registered to your admin account, your business name, and a description of any error message you see on screen.
