How do I remove my location from the public Styku locations map?
How do I remove my location from the public Styku locations map?
If your Styku scanner is not open to the public, Styku can remove your location from all public-facing location maps. You cannot do this yourself — it requires Styku Support to update your listing on the back end. Your account and scanner will remain fully active; only the public visibility changes.
When to request this
This applies if any of the following are true:
- Your scanner is a private amenity for residents, tenants, or members only
- You are receiving inquiries from members of the public who found your location in a Styku directory
- You do not want your location discoverable by anyone outside your organization
How to submit your request
- Log in to the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
- Open a support ticket using the ticket form.
- In your message, include:
- Your business or location name as it appears in Styku
- A brief description of who your scanner is intended to serve (for example, "residents only" or "private members only")
- A request to remove your location from all public Styku location maps
- Wait for confirmation from the Styku support team. Target response time is 1 business day.
Once the update is complete, Styku Support will confirm that your listing has been removed from all three public maps: styku.com/locations, tryhealthpass.com/pages/locations, and the Styku mobile app.
What to expect after the update
- Your location will no longer appear on any public Styku location maps.
- Your scanner, account, and all scan data remain completely unaffected.
- If you later notice your location appearing in any public listing again, contact support right away.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: your business location name as it appears in Styku, a description of where the public listing was found (for example, a URL or the name of the map), and confirmation of whether you have already received a delisting confirmation from Styku Support.
Applies to: All Styku configurations — any business using a Styku scanner as a private or restricted-access amenity.
