How do I present a 3D scan to a client in Styku Studio?

How do I present a 3D scan to a client in Styku Studio?

Once a scan is open, Styku Studio provides tools to display the 3D body model in a clean, engaging way for client consultations.

Navigating the 3D view

You can control the 3D model using the touchscreen or touchpad:

  • Pan — Press and drag in any direction to move the model within the view.
  • Rotate — Drag left or right to rotate the model and view the body from any angle.
  • Zoom — Pinch two fingers together to zoom in, or spread them apart to zoom out.
  • Reset — If the model moves out of view, press the Reset button in the top right corner to return it to the starting position.

Presenting a scan to a client

  1. Enter full-screen mode. With the scan open, click the Full Screen button at the bottom of the screen, near the feet of the 3D model.

  2. Hide the tape measurements. On the right side of the screen, click the View Tape button to toggle the green tape measurement lines off. This gives a cleaner view of the 3D model without distracting numbers.

  3. Rotate the model. Drag left or right to show the client their body from different angles.

  4. Review measurements when ready. Toggle View Tape back on to show measurements. Tap any green line on the model to display its value.

Notes

  • At the baseline stage, the 3D visual is typically more valuable than individual measurements. Specific numbers become more meaningful when comparing scans over time to track progress.
  • The 3D view shows clients an objective representation of their body that they cannot easily see in a mirror or photo — use it as an opportunity to discuss goals and next steps.
  • For comparing two scans side by side, see: How can I show a client their before and after scans, and highlight progress with Styku?

If the problem persists, contact support and include: your Styku Studio software version and a description of the display or navigation issue you are experiencing.

Applies to: Styku Studio (all configurations)
