How do I enable Express Mode for faster back-to-back scanning?
Overview
Express Mode removes the post-scan review screen. Once a scan is complete, the system automatically logs the client out so you can immediately begin the next scan. This is ideal for high-volume days or when clients move directly into another service after scanning.
Steps
- From the Home Screen, select View & Open Profiles.
- Enter your Admin PIN.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Scanner Hardware.
- Toggle Express Mode on.
Express Mode is now active. The next scan will automatically log the client out upon completion.
Notes
- When Express Mode is enabled, staff will not have the option to review scan results on-screen immediately after the scan. Clients can still view their results in the Styku mobile app after cloud sync completes.
- To walk through results with a client, disable Express Mode before the session or use the client's mobile app.
- You will need your Admin PIN to access Settings. Contact your facility administrator if you do not have this.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: your Styku Studio software version and a description of the settings screen behavior.
