How do I correct a wrong height or fix a misspelled client name in Styku?
Some profile details — like height — can be corrected directly in Styku Studio. Others, like a misspelled client name that created a duplicate profile, need to be fixed by the Styku support team on the backend.
Correcting a Client's Height
You can update a client's height directly inside Styku Studio without contacting support.
- Open Styku Studio on your scanner laptop.
- Find and open the client's profile.
- Locate the height field in the profile details.
- Enter the correct height and save your changes.
Note: Per Styku's scanning requirements, clients must have a minimum height of 54 inches and a maximum height of 77 inches to be scanned. If you are correcting a height, ensure the updated value falls within this supported range.
The client can also update their own height through the Styku mobile app (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) if they have access to their account. Clients can create their Styku account ahead of time in the mobile app, then log in to Styku Studio using the QR code option when they arrive for their scan.
Fixing a Misspelled Client Name
No duplicate profile — administrator can fix directly in Studio
If the name was simply entered incorrectly but no duplicate profile was created, an administrator can correct it directly in Styku Studio — no support ticket required:
- Press the Settings button.
- Scroll down and choose Customer Profiles and Scan Data.
- Log in with your administrator credentials.
- Choose Edit Profile, search for the client, and press Continue.
- Correct the name. There are two pages of information — review both. Press Continue when done.

Duplicate profile exists — contact support
If a separate duplicate profile was created as a result of the name error, the Styku support team handles the merge on the backend. Contact support and provide:
- The correct client name and the misspelled version
- The email address on the correct profile
- The email address on the duplicate profile (if different)
- The date(s) of any scans that need to be moved
Once the support team has these details, they will move the scans to the correct profile and remove the duplicate.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: the correct and incorrect client name spellings, the email address(es) associated with each profile, the date(s) of the affected scan(s), and your Styku Studio software version number (found in the app settings).
