How do I connect the Styku X2L scanner to the laptop?

How do I connect the Styku X2L scanner to the laptop?

Overview

The Styku X2L scanning tower requires a SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) connection for full functionality. Using the wrong port may prevent the scanner from working correctly.

Steps

  1. Connect the USB cable from the scanning tower to the SS (SuperSpeed) port on the side of the laptop. This port is typically marked with the "SS" symbol or a blue connector.
  2. Connect the turntable USB cable to the other available USB port on the laptop.

Notes

  • Using a standard USB 2.0 port for the scanning tower may result in poor scan quality or the scanner not being recognized.
  • If your laptop does not have a free SS port, do not use a USB hub — contact Styku support for guidance.
  • The Turntable USB Adapter (included in the box) may be needed depending on the available port type on your laptop.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: your laptop model, which ports you used, and any error messages shown in the Styku software.
