How do I change the email address on my Styku account?
Styku uses three separate accounts depending on which part of the product you are using. The steps to update your email address are different for each one.
Business Portal account
Styku Support can update the email address on your Business Portal account. Submit a request through the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal and include:
- Your current Business Portal email address
- The new email address you want to use
A support agent will update the email on your account. Once changed, use the new address to log in to the portal.
Styku Studio administrator account
To change the email address on your Styku Studio administrator account:
- Open Styku Studio on your scanner laptop.
- Press Settings.
- Scroll down and select Accounts and Privacy Controls.
- You will be prompted to log in — enter your current email and password. If you don't remember your password, press Forgot Password.
- Select Administrator Account and follow the on-screen instructions to update your email address.
⚠️ Important: If you see a "Connection error: Unable to connect to the license server" after changing your email, this is a known issue that requires Styku Support to fix on the backend. Submit a ticket through the Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
Styku mobile app
To change the email address on your Styku mobile app account:
- Open the Styku mobile app.
- Tap the profile icon.
- Go to Profile Information.
- Tap Change Email.
- Enter your new email address and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the change.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: which account type you are trying to update (Business Portal, Styku Studio, or mobile app), your current email address, the new email address you want to use, and a description of any error you see on screen.
