Can I scan the same person at different Styku locations?
Yes. A client's Styku profile is tied to their email address and is shared across all Styku locations. You can scan the same person at multiple locations, and their complete scan history will be visible in all of the following places:
- The Styku mobile app — the client can log in and see every scan, regardless of which location performed it
- Each scanning location — any Styku location that has scanned the client can see the client's full scan history, including scans done at other locations
How this works
When a client is scanned, Styku links the scan to their profile using their email address. Because the profile is cloud-based and tied to the email, it is accessible at any Styku location — not just the one where the client was first scanned.
This means:
- A client who trains at multiple gyms can track their progress across all locations in one place
- A facility scanning a client for the first time can see that client's prior scan history if they have been scanned elsewhere
Important: use the same email address
For all scans to appear under one profile, the same email address must be used at every location. If a different email was used at another location, two separate profiles will exist and the scan histories will not be combined automatically.
If a client has scans split across two email addresses, contact Styku Support through the Business Portal at styku.com/portal to request a profile merge.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
