Can I hide or remove specific body metrics from Styku Studio?

You cannot hide or remove individual body metrics from Styku Studio. However, if a group of metrics doesn't fit your practice's approach, Styku can remove the entire industry extension that contains those features from your license key — which removes that feature set from your software.

What Are Industry Extensions?

Industry extensions are optional feature sets added to your Styku license. They group related tools and metrics together. For example, the Health Screen extension includes health risk metrics such as waist-to-hip ratio and waist-to-height ratio.

If your practice does not use these metrics, Styku support can remove the relevant extension from your license. This will hide the entire feature set for any staff member using that license.

What This Option Does — and Doesn't — Do

  • Removes access to all features within the extension (e.g., all Health Screen metrics), not just one individual metric
  • Applies per license key — if you have multiple licenses, each one can be updated separately
  • Does not delete any previously captured scan data
  • Cannot selectively show or hide individual measurements within an extension

How to Request an Extension Removal

  1. Log in to the Styku Business Portal at business.styku.com.
  2. Submit a support ticket using the ticket form.
  3. In your message, describe which metrics or features you want removed and ask which extension covers them.
  4. A Styku support representative will confirm the change and update your license key.

Once the extension is removed, restart Styku Studio on your laptop for the change to take effect.

A Note on Software Feedback

If you have suggestions about how metrics are displayed or want more customization options in a future update, you are welcome to include that feedback in your support ticket. Styku's team reviews customer feedback when planning software improvements.
