Can I get a report showing who used the Styku scanner and when?
Can I get a report showing who used the Styku scanner and when?
Styku does not currently send automated daily or weekly email reports showing scanner usage by client. You can view a read-only list of scan profiles inside Styku Studio, but there is no way to download or export that list directly from the app.
Viewing Scan Profiles In-App
By default, Styku Studio hides client profiles from the main screen. An administrator can unlock the profiles list by disabling the Hide Profiles setting:
- Open Styku Studio and choose Settings.
- Select Accounts and Privacy Controls and log in as administrator.
- Turn off the Hide Profiles option.
Once disabled, opening the Open Profiles window will show all client profiles, including their name, number of scans, and the date of their last scan.
Note: This view is read-only inside Styku Studio. There is no way to download or export this list directly from the app.
Exporting Scan History Data
To export a list of scan activity out of Styku, you have two options:
- Styku Leaderboard (add-on subscription) — includes a CSV export of member scan history
- Styku API — lets a developer pull scan data programmatically into an external system
For full details on both options, see: How do I get scan data from Styku into a CRM or external system?
Automated Email Reports
At this time, Styku does not offer an automated report sent to your email on a daily or weekly schedule. If this feature is important to your business — for example, if you charge per scan and need accountability records — you can submit a feature request to the Styku product team through the Styku Business Portal or by contacting support.
What to Do If a Client Didn't Receive Their Scan Report Email
If a client reports that they did not receive their scan results by email, the most likely fix is to resend the report directly from Styku Studio. To do so:
- Open the client's profile by pressing the Open Profile button and locating the relevant scan.
- Press the Share Results button at the bottom of the window.
- Select the type of report you would like to create.
- Choose Email to send the report to the client.
- You can customize which pages are included by unchecking any pages you do not want to send, then pressing Set Pages.
- Confirm that the email address shown is correct. You can edit the address directly in the box provided. Note: Editing the address here will not change the email address associated with the customer's profile. To update the profile email, you must edit the profile separately.
- Press Send to send the email. The client will receive an email with a link to their report.
Customizing Which Report Pages Are Sent
If you want to control which pages are included in scan or progress reports going forward for all clients, you can configure this in the app settings:
- Open the Styku app and choose View Profiles, then enter your PIN.
- Choose the Settings option.
- Find and select Reports and Sharing.
- Press the Advanced button and log in using your Styku administrator account.
- Inside Advanced settings, locate Progress Report Pages and Scan Report Pages to add or remove pages from either report type.
Note: Changes made here will apply to all reports sent from the software going forward.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: the client's name, the date of the scan in question, and whether you are trying to resend a report email or requesting help pulling a usage history report.
Applies to: Styku Studio V5, all Styku configurations
