Can I create a profile without doing a scan?

Yes — you can create a customer profile in Styku Studio before performing a scan. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1: Create a Profile Manually in Styku Studio

  1. Open Settings in Styku Studio.
  2. Select Customer Profiles and Scan Data.
  3. Log in as an administrator.
  4. Select Create Profile.
  5. Enter the customer's demographic information: email, first name, last name, birthday, sex, and height.

The profile will be ready and waiting when the customer arrives for their scan.

Option 2: Client Self-Service via the Styku Mobile App

Customers can also create their accounts ahead of time by downloading the Styku mobile app and setting up their profile there. When they come in to scan, they log in directly using the QR code option in Styku Studio — this is the fastest way to get started.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support through the Styku Business Portal at styku.com/portal and include: your business name, the customer's email address, and a description of the issue.
