Styku is considered to have "near perfect reliability" in a recent [validation paper, with 167% better reliability than the nearest competitor.](https://www.styku.com/research) | √ |   | | **Self-Service** Styku's [self-service ](https://www.styku.com/help/search/how-to-turn-self-scan-off-and-on)features enables customers to scan autonomously and receive remote consultations.  | √ | √ | | **Less than 0.5% error in Circumferences** Nearest competitor has 0.5-.75 inch error in waist sizes of 30-34 inches (.22% error in circumferences). In comparison, Styku's avg. error in the waist is 0.125 inches, which is best-in-class. | √ |   | | **No Waiting** Don't keep your staff and customers waiting. Competing solutions often have 15-minute wait times before a scan is viewable. Styku uses advanced compression technology to ensure scan data is synched to the cloud and accessible in under a minute.  | √ |   | | **Health Risk Screening and Built-in Coach** Styku not only measures body composition, but is the only solution on the market that makes it useful in ranking a user, based on gender/age, and then using that data to set fat-loss goals. Styku is also the only solution with built-in Health Screens for Obesity related Diseases.  | √ |   | | **Virtual Certification for Staff** Competing solutions provide no standardized training, forcing your staff to design their own playbook from scratch.  | √ |   | | **Privacy Controls** | √ | √ | | **Cloud-Based** | √ | √ | | **Pay-as-you go** Running a business today is riskier than ever. Competing solutions overcharge you upfront for hardware and software to recover their costs for development, storage, and maintenance, only to surprise you with hidden fees when you need service. But Styku charges less up-front and gives you the ability to pay as you go. Keep cash in your pocket. | √ |   | | **Doesn't Sell Data** Beware of companies touting "no monthly fees". They have ongoing costs to store, back-up and secure your data in the cloud. Often these companies are "selling" your customers data to advertisers and clothing companies to help make up the difference.  | √ |   |     # STYKU *vs. *OTHER BODY ASSESSMENT DEVICES. |   | **STYKU** | BIOIMPEDANCE | DEXA | HYDROSTATIC | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Method/Tools Used | Infrared Camera | Electrical Currents | X-Ray Imaging | Water Displacement | | Safe while pregnant | √  |   |   | √  | | Requires fasting or dietary restrictions |   | √  |   | √  | | Takes less than a minute | √  | √  |   |   | | 3D Visualization and Before/After | √  |   |   |   | | Circumferences | √  |   |   |   | | Consistent Body Composition Readings | √  |   | √  | √  |   ## TECH SPECS ### Specifications ##### Scanner - Footprint: 6 ft x 4.3 ft (185 cm x 131 cm) - Rotating Platform Weight: 10.5kg (23lbs) - Sensor Tower Weight: 6kg (13lbs) - Power: 110-240 V - Setup Time: < 5 mins - Scan Duration: 30 - 40 seconds - Scan Processing Time: Under 2 Minutes ##### Tower Specifications - Height: 117cm (46in) - Diameter: 25.4cm (10in) - Weight: 6kg (13lbs) - Recommended Distance: 25 in (63.5 cm) - Technology: Active Stereo Infrared ##### Platform Specifications - Dimensions: 66cm x 66cm x 12.5cm (24in x 24in x 4in) - Weight: 10.5kg (23lbs) - Power: 110 or 240 V - Recommended Max Load: 250kg (550lbs) - Speed: ~35 seconds per revolution ##### Measurements and Model - Torso Measurement Precision: +- 2.5-5mm (.1-.2in) - Scanning Volume: Variable - # of Standard Measurements: 33 ### Requirements ##### Computer Requirements - Intel i5 8th Generation (i5-8260U) 2.4 GHz or faster CPU - 8 GB or more DDR4 RAM - Dedicated USB 3.0 SuperSpeed bus & supported chipset - 256 GB or more hard disk storage (SSD drive recommended) - 1920x1080 monitor resolution - Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10 or above - Recommended: Touchscreen ##### Space Requirements - Minimum Scanning Area: 6 ft.
